If you've got a salt tooth and $5+ bucks to spare, and you're in New York, then you best head on over to the Pier 17 Mall
The restaurant was charming and their fish and chips were excellent. And that is coming from a guy who doesn't like cheap dirty fast food fish at all. In fact, I normally avoid the whole salt water animal thing and get a hamburger or hotdog with ketchup. But I really liked their Forbidden Pirate Delight. (Thanks Turner!)
As for the french fries, I'm not sure. It didn't do too much for either of us. If we go again I'm trying what Justin had. It looked way good!

Pier 17? Seriously??
All the places to eat in New York City and you chose Pier 17?
I'm speechless, Dan. Speechless.
Touche Dan, I thought it was very funny.
